What you're watching
This is a highlight reel from the full act of The Compendium, our custom built installation. A contortionist performs inside a life sized multi-mirrored structure while the animations projected onto the floor respond to her movement in real time. A depth camera tracks the performer and our software renders the visuals live, and the mirrors multiply the performer and the projection in every direction.
The full act runs about four minutes and moves through a series of scenes, from fire to geometric patterns to shattering tiles. The Compendium was also part of Astra: Reality Collapse, the full show we produced and directed in September 2023.
What it needs
The act needs a clear performance area of at least 20 feet deep by 15 feet wide, and about 20 feet of height so the projector can be mounted above the stage. See more on our projection mapping and interactive installations pages.
